  Recently I went with a friend to pick a delivery, and it was a bad experience for both. Even though the post app indicated the delivery was there, the counter lady indicated it wasn’t without properly searching for it. We asked to double check and her answer was rude that it was nothing under that name. We wait longer, and insisted to search for it and without any explanation the lady bring out the big box of the delivery. The box was big and had my friends name all over it. (It has also a foreign last name that might not be easy to mixed with others) Didn’t apologise or anything just requested to sign the receipt. Not sure if this was a discrimination experience or the lady lack on customer experience but it was a very sad experience. This is the only local business in town with new residents and workers arriaving there to works and business it is very sad that they faced this experience. In all my years in Australia I never experienced that behaviour. Post officer workers are very helpfully and respectful. Hope this help the business to reflect in the purpose of their business and services.

  If the owner of the Lindenow General Store decides that he doesn't like you, he makes your mail go "missing". How they still manage to keep their Australia Post licence I will never know...

  New owners are fantastic; friendly to chat to, food is great and have never had an issue with packages.

  Happy staff who knew some of the locals. Though they didn’t know all of them. Happy to help though. A great little historic town
